I am Scott AK6Q and I grew up in Colorado. I prefer to be on a mountain rather than in the city. This drove me to develop the Side KX accessories for Elecraft KX line. I saw, as many have, a need for additional protection initially for the KX3, then the PX3 and now the KX2!
My goal was to make the KX3 more pack friendly with a minimalist approach. After the development of replacement side panels I developed a Poly-carbonate cover that attaches to the radio with no additional fasteners to further protect your radio.
I strive to seamlessly integrate and more importantly PROTECT the Elecraft KX line and now also the Elecraft K- line. I strive to keep with the ‘Top Shelf Quality’ that Eric Swartz and Wayne Burdick have set as the standard for Elecraft.
